Hey my Name is Jeremy, I've been a lifelong collector and player in the TCG space. Recently, we have opened our first physical location in the heart of koreatown downtown looking to more joy to the community. At Duck duck, we are a community-first store. We try to do our best to make sure our players and customers are well taken care of. If you come in to the store, you will be greeted with lovely staff and a comfortable playing and seating area which you can usually find players of all TCG genres hanging out. Ontop of our TCG offerings, we also have a multitude of toys and blindboxes for the choosing. We have tried to foster a inclusive environment so that there is something for everyone!

Amazing shop full of Pokemon singles and all sorts of sealed product. It was my first time there and I picked up a Spewpa from Perfect Order for my master set and I traded a bunch of my duplicates from Chaos Rising towards a Japanese Destined Rivals Booster. All in, the transaction was perfect. I wasn't required to pay for part of it in cash (as some stores require for cash flow gains) and the gentlemen working there were super friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I will 100% be returning and you should stop by with your trades as well.

I wanted to find a good card shop after being away from collecting Pokémon cards for over a decade, and after reading the reviews I decided to visit- it ended up being the perfect place to start again. Back then I would casually pick up a pack or two from Indigo for fun, and now those cards are somehow considered “vintage,” which made walking into a proper card shop feel a bit intimidating at first. That said- Dan and Nick immediately made the experience comfortable- they were friendly, kind, and incredibly patient with me as a returning but very out-of-date collector. They took the time to explain the different types of Pokémon cards, how to get the best value depending on what you’re looking for, how people build and organize their binders, and even recommended apps to track collections and card value. What really stood out to me was how they listened- I shared a bit about how I first got into Pokémon cards, why I stopped for a while, and they were genuinely engaged, thoughtful, and encouraging in a way that meant more than I can properly express right now. They even gave me a few small items to help me ease back into collecting, which felt incredibly kind and made the whole experience feel warm and personal rather than transactional. I also appreciated how honest and transparent they were- there was no gatekeeping at all, just a real willingness to share their knowledge. They carry a great variety of products, including Japanese and Chinese Pokémon cards, which I didn’t even know were available locally- I was secretly hoping to find Korean cards given the proximity to Koreatown, but learned it’s harder to find higher-value pulls from those, which was interesting to hear. Beyond cards, they also have cute collectibles (I couldn’t resist a Snorlax keychain), and the shop itself feels welcoming and thoughtfully curated. I left feeling excited, informed, and honestly just really grateful- I genuinely fell in love with both the shop and the people in it. I highly recommend this place to anyone, whether you’re completely new, returning after years, or deep into the hobby, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit- I may not have enough saved up just yet, but I can’t stop thinking about that Snorlax card. Thanks again, Dan & Nick! See you guys soon!!!!

Loveee this place! Was out and was searching for a trading card shop and stumbled upon this gem! The workers (David and Dan) made everything fun and answered all of my random questions! Will go back again! Very clean and had market prices (or better) 💕
