Drop Zone is an amazing hobby/model store with amazing owners & staff that not only do they have great prices and stock. A great family friendly environment that encourages community and good old fashion fun without the need for a screen. It's be there a lot more if it wasn't a 2hr drive from my house but when I do make the trek I never regret it.

I've been trying to like this store/staff/atmosphere since I got back into 40k after a 25 year hiatus. My first visit was to find out about what boxes were for sale. When I asked about the Leviathan box, I enquired about any tyranids players I could split the box with, as I was space Marine focused. Instead of engaging that I got a lecture on reselling. My second visit was after joining their discord and connecting with players. I had some decals some people were looking for in the channel. I offered them for free and arranged to leave them at the store with an employee. They were then given to randoms and the intended player never even saw them. The third time I went in was to buy some of their in house 3D printed bases. I asked how much the bases were and got a question to my question, "well how.many do you want?" I bought ten and they were fine. My fourth and last time dealing with them was today. I called in advance asking about a base for a Lord Discordant. They said they had it, but when I got to the store, low and behold, they had none and said to come back later. Waste of gas and energy on 3/4 visits. I guess it's on me that I keep going back. Unless you absolutely gotta have it today (if they for sure have what you want), go anywhere else for good service.

Dropzone games is a store I want to like but after my short Mesbg tournament experience there i don't think I'll be returning. Despite charging a higher price for an event it felt like pulling teeth to even find out any info about the event and the TO organization was probably some of the most laid back hands off experience ive witnessed. This wouldn't be a problem if we didn't pay a higher price than normal. Feeding back into that with such a high entrance fee you'd assume at least some of the collective 420$ cad would be fed into some kind of prize support [30 cad per person] after which to find out it has no prizes, trophies or even a print out for winning This all wouldn't be a problem if once again the price wasn't so high or the TO effort wasnt so low being told "maybe in the future we can do prizes:" so if the event cost was 30 and it didn't go to TO planning or doing anything other than setting up terrain or prize support what was it used for? The people were a blast and made it worth it but wouldn't recommend hosting an event here personally. This feeling was echoed by a few of the other tournament goers.

I am impressed with Tao and Tim every time we go to Drop Zone. They are so caring and encouraging with their youth players. They truly strive for my son's experience with Warhammer to be a good one. Bonus points for the family feel with their customers: more than once has one of the players (not staff!) looked through a new shipment for an order or grabbed the POS machine to check a price for us. The order process is simple as well. Just order on their Google Doc found on the website and they will bring it in ASAP. I can't speak highly enough of the DropZone staff!

I’ve been only going to Dropzone for about a year now and in that year I’ve meet so many the nice people who play and run the store, the atmosphere is inviting and the staff are always so helpful on anything you need. I love the pace so much and I highly recommend others to check it out.
