Common Box Games

This was the first card shop I ever went to and the staff here are super welcoming and genuine. Since then I’ve continued to come back weekly (or more) because not only do they have the best prices, Sean and Denny are hands down the best dudes around. They are genuinely interested in your collections and big cards you’ve pulled, they offer great trade in values and insightful & helpful feedback on what cards to hold onto etc. I have brought friends in as well and they now only go to Common Box because of their great experiences here also. Sean and Denny have brought back the joy I had for Pokemon as a kid, thanks guys!

Huge shoutout to the crew at Common Box Games — Denny, Ivan, Sean, and Gordon. Absolutely my favourite local spot for Yu Gi Oh in the city and honestly my home shop here in Edmonton. The atmosphere is always great, everyone’s welcoming, and the product pricing is always fair. You can tell they genuinely care about the community and the people coming through the doors. I’m pretty sure half their job is just dealing with me bugging them every time I walk in, but they’re always in high spirits and somehow still happy to see me 😂 If you’re into Yu Gi Oh or trading card games in general, this is the spot. Great people, great energy, and a shop that really feels like part of the community. Nyaaaaaaaah eh

Love this place! I wanted to get back into Yu-Gi-Oh after a 15 year break, and had no clue where to start. But Sean and the team here have been awesome and very helpful. Highly recommend 👌🏼

I had an excellent experience with this Pokémon trading company and especially with Shawn. From start to finish, he was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He took the time to answer all my questions, offered valuable insights, and made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. It’s not every day you come across someone who combines professionalism with such a friendly and approachable attitude. Shawn’s expertise and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out. I highly recommend this company to anyone interested in Pokémon trading—whether you’re new or experienced, you’ll be in great hands. Thanks again, Shawn!

One of the beat card shops in Edmonton! Super reasonable on prices especially for sealed pokemon! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Hopefully they grow their graded slab offerings!
