HERO STASH

This shop is full of dirty scammers who take advantage of new collectors… please never come here. I, 13, came to this absolutely embarrassing excuse for a card shop. First, I want to state how I was treated. The worker was sighing, laughing AT me, trying to belittle me, shaking me off, and even getting hostile in a passive aggressive way. Here’s my story: I came here with 220-250 dollars worth of cards (eBay last sold) but I didn’t calculate the price, and instead asked the worker. The worker told me that the cards were (last sold on eBay) 150 and he could offer me 120 store credit which is LESS THAN 50% OR IN OTHER WORDS LESS THAN 130 DOLLARS… When I came back, the other worker who was next to him when I made the deal tried to act like he didn’t remember anything even though I could tell he did (he even remembered the exact date which I got out of him). And when I asked him why they would so blatantly lie about the price being 150 (80-100 less than the actual price) he kept laughing and sighing at me to try to shake me away. He would get passive aggressive and tell me blatant lies, and would give me one word answers since he knew he was caught. By the way, those cards were around 80% of my collection! I only started collecting late last year, and since I’m still a student, I don’t have jobs that I can freely buy them with. Shamelessly laughing and snickering at a customer when they were just scammed out of 80% of their collection is absolutely absurd. I am absolutely furious...

My kids love this store. They say its got a good range of Pokemon cards and they get fair prices for their trades.

I had my first visit to this location and my first Lorcana pre-release sealed event too. There was a nice local group and I came with my friends. A very good store that has lots of game related merchandise.

Sold my childhood binder of holos. I was happy with the price. The man gave my daughter a tin to take away and included a discounted slab for me to re add to my time capsule since my poorly handled binder was now gone from it 🤣 I thought that was a nice touch. Could I have gotten more from privately selling? Maybe but considering the no fuss cash and good service, was a good experience. I hope my old cards serve you well and thankyou for the cool slab it's wrapped in bubble wrap and you may see it again in your shop in 20 years for some quick cash lol

A great store with a good variety of collectibles, not just cards. Their buy and sell prices are definitely the fairest I've encountered in Adelaide, comparing to the other card stores. Simon the owner gave friendly, genuinely nice down to earth service; and has been so helpful in my pursuit to finish certain tcg card sets.
