I frequently shop at various LGS and have a multitude experiences as a customer. Tonight my friends and I visited the store and were served by Addie. Honestly, it was easily one of the most positive experiences I have had, ever. She was so helpful and meticulous with helping my friends and I out despite almost running the floor by herself. Thank you so much for the amazing service. Whatever you guys are paying her, please increase it 😭🙏

If you’re going to overcharge retail for every product at least have good customer service, the service here is so unhelpful and when you have a enquiry they look at you like your suppose to get behind the desk and sort it out yourself. Lazy customer service this is what we get for supporting a smaller business

I’ve been going into Good Games Cannington on and off for a while now. I don’t currently play, but I’ve been wanting to get into it, and I’ve taken my son in a few times. To be fair, I’ve had some really good experiences there before: staff have been friendly, helped me with getting into Magic, gave me a starter deck, and pointed me in the right direction with apps and game nights. That’s why this stood out so much. Today's visit was honestly pretty disappointing. I came in to look at some Pokémon cards and asked to see a Pikachu EX they had (around the $300 mark). Let's be real, that's not a high-end card; it's a low to mid-tier card at best. I've personally spent thousands on cards and other collectibles, so I'm not new to buying. The staff member took the card out, but wouldn't actually let me hold or properly inspect it. He kept it in his hand the whole time like I was going to run off with it. That just didn't sit right with me. If I'm considering buying a card, I need to be able to look at the condition properly. Even at card shows with far more expensive cards, sellers allow that. Treating a customer like they can't be trusted over a low-tier card is not a great experience. On top of that, the service at the counter wasn’t great. One staff member acknowledged me, but the other staff member at the computer didn’t acknowledge me at all or come over to help. I stood there waiting at the desk for quite a while, even though she could have made herself free. You could check the cameras and see it. Instead of helping, she stayed on the computer, and the other guy had to juggle between customers on the other side and then come back to serve me. It just made the whole interaction feel off, like I wasn’t really valued as a customer. At the end of the day, I came in ready to spend money and likely would have bought the card. But between not being trusted to even hold it and the lack of basic customer service, it completely put me off. It’s disappointing because I’ve had positive experiences here before, and I was actually keen to get more involved. But experiences like this make it hard to want to come back.

Good experience with customer service, they are always willing to help to find what you’re looking for or for a conversation. They have event during the week for you to meet new people and game with. The only negative thing would be that I’m not sure of is if they refuse customers that have very bad body odour, there has been a few times where there are customers some event nights that their body odour is so bad that I dry-reach or feel like I need to chuck up 🙃

Visited this place for the first time yesterday and it was GREAT! The store was clean and stocked with lots of cool products, there seemed to be a Pokemon event running which gave the store a great vibe. Also the guy behind the counter with the KPDH T Shirt was super knowledgeable about the TCG's (Specifically Yugioh, Magic and Pokemon) and answered all my questions with enthusiasm. Such a cool place and would highly recommend to friends and family.
