The staff member Emily made this the most memorable first experience in this store. Its evident theres a genuine love for the job and giving people the best experience right as they walk in the door. Went above and beyond with genuine customer service and care based on my interests also looking with me. You are an asset to the team and im so glad I visited will definitely be back in future. I’ve been coming to this store quite often and absolutely love it here. The store itself has a great vibe, and I always enjoy the interactions with the staff. Kathy, Justin, and amy were especially helpful and insightful. I’m not very knowledgeable about current trading card trends, especially with Pokémon sets since I mainly know the earlier generations, but they always take the time to explain things and answer my questions. They never make me feel rushed and are genuinely patient when helping me understand which Pokémon are in different sets. The customer service here really stands out, and the welcoming atmosphere keeps me coming back. I’ll definitely continue stopping by whenever I’m in Highpoint!

I've been a regular at General Games for quite a while and have always enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and the staff. Unfortunately, it feels like the vibe has changed since the new management came in. On several occasions, I've overheard the manager interrupt or discourage staff from having genuine conversations with customers, instead telling them to get back to work. One of the things that has always made General Games stand out is the friendly interactions and rapport the staff build with customers. Those conversations create a great community atmosphere and are a big part of why I keep coming back. From a customer's perspective, it now feels more rigid and less welcoming than it used to. A positive work environment shows in the way staff interact with customers, and I hope management higher up recognizes how important that is. Just my two cents from a loyal customer who's hoping to see the store return to the atmosphere that made it so enjoyable.

Store was really cool, has alot of items, different collecter cards, selling singles, Warhammer, paint, brushes, Gundam which was my personal favourite part. Bought 2 packs and instantly got my chase, I hope the store sticks around for a while and thank you to the cool lady that served us.

I’ve been in the store since the first week it’s opened and I cannot resist going in every week. The manager is amazing. The staff are great and a stock is exactly what I look for Pokiemon and one piece, they also have Yu-Gi-Oh! and Gundam. prices are also very reasonable not overinflated. They always have new stuff coming in so you gotta be quick.
