Fortress Sydney

Tried to speak with someone while on location, was told they didn't have the time and to leave a review, so here we go After having been to the Melbourne location, and having multiple people and friends tell me that the Sydney place was the best, I was sorely disappointed. The staff were very friendly and the decoration and atmosphere were fantastic, but the food left much to be desired. I ordered some fried ribs, a parmi, a cocktail, and a lager for a total of $92 The ribs were bland, with the dousing of sauce accounting for the only semblance of flavour The parmi was extremely disappointing, especially considering it accounted for $35 of the total with some side sauce. It consisted of two pressed chicken paste patties (think the stuff you get from the woolworths deli on clearance for a dollar) with cheese and sauce. You can't be charging someone $35 for chicken paste patty bulked out with flour I tried to speak with someone before leaving, but was told to just leave a public review as they were too busy. I understand this, as it was pretty busy at the time, but it's also disappointing there was no effort made to resolve an issue before it was posted publicly The friends I went with also confirmed that the food seems to have gone down in quality in the last few years. I am disappointed, and will likely not be back in the foreseeable future for the purposes of having a meal

THE NICEST PEOPLE EVER!!! Honestly this place is the BEST! The staff are so friendly, accommodating, and welcoming to beginners! Every time we go they go out of their way to make us feel welcome, make sure we understand everything and have a good time. I could not recommend them more! We've hosted multiple birthday parties here in the gaming booths and the kids always love it! The games are always working easy, it's just so simple and easy to do! The food is delicious and their chips and gravy is amazing, the drinks are great, and everything is very reasonably priced! Honestly - go to this place it is a dream! You'll have a great time!!!

Easily one of my favourite places to hang out or eat at. Makes you feel like Aragorn, sitting in the corner of a medieval tavern 😝. Not only is the food excellent, the activities they host during the week are a lot of fun and a great way to introduce yourself into some of the different table top options. Gaming area is also very affordable and a great wind down. Dungeon & Flagons is alot of fun! Thanks to Jay for his work DM-ing

Dragons and flagons was amazing! leash is an absolute legend. Made our experience easy to follow as beginners but not as though we were absolute noobs and didn’t know anything. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!

My friends and I had a great Dungeons and Flagons session led by our DM Natasha. She was fantastic and made everything really fun and easy to get into, especially since we were all complete beginners. The whole experience was way more entertaining than we expected and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend 😊
