This isn't somewhere to buy cards - it's a centre for an entire gaming community. Local owners supporting local players. Great prices on singles, player focussed events, insanely knowledgeable staff. (Shorty's an absolute freak) If you're in the area and looking for cards (or simply a place to hang out and sling spells for a while) come down to AWG.

0 stars, avoid this store at all costs. I ordered 38 NEAR MINT cards that arrived scuffed with edges dinted in that would be listed as moderate to heavily played elsewhere. It took them a full week to ship, with no response to multiple status requests. Stick with stores like mtgmate or roningames etc. I ordered through both of them at the same time I ordered with aether and they shipped the same day + their NEAR MINT cards are actually near mint.

Bring your commander deck Wednesday nights from 5 and have a blast! Also, great prices on singles.

My review is only in regards to my experience ordering singles from them online, I can't speak to how the experience is instore, I hope it's better. Be aware that if you order online, there is ZERO communication. I received no shipping notification, not even through Shopify, and no reply to two emails asking for an update (sent 8 & 10 days after order). My order did turn up eventually, but unfortunately it was missing five cards, and one card ordered as NM was heavily damaged. The order was a large number of cards, so I understand that things can get missed but the communication issues continued. I tried to contact Aether Wyvern about the missing/damaged cards multiple times over a two week period through email, their web contact form, and their listed phone number. There was no reply to any of the emails, and no answer for any of the phone calls. I received a random refund on one card that I had not reported as missing and which did not equal the value of the missing cards. I considered doing a chargeback, but ultimately decided against it as it just wasn't worth the fuss for me. I would not order from Aether Wyvern again and would recommend using other online singles sellers instead like MTGMate or Cherry. Update as of 4 months later: still no communication or reply has been received from AW about the missing/damaged cards

Had a pleasant time visiting from Melbourne. The staff were friendly, community lively and welcoming, and facilities were solid. Would visit again :)
