Vault Collectables by The Filmsmen

Really disappointing experience as someone new to the TCG community. I stayed up until 4am trying to register for a pre-release after their Bandai app went down, eventually successfully secured a spot (small excitement), only to later be told days later I’d been moved to the waitlist because “regulars” had complained. I later went into the store keen to learn and play casually, but was rudely shut down by the staff member and left feeling like new players simply weren’t welcome here. Not the way you build a welcoming TCG community or encourage new people into the hobby.

Lovely owners, full of advice and always happy to chat. I bought three packs of Pokemon Chaos Rising and pulled a rare Mega Greninja ex (116/086)

Some of the 1-star reviews here are just butt hurt scalpers tbh. Owners are gems—actually care about customers and price things fairly. They helped me clean and prep a card for grading just for the love of it, no extra cost. Doubt I would’ve hit a 10 without their help. No scalper pricing like most other pop-ups. Always polite, players and kids come first. If you’re in Sydney, easy recommend.

Great shop for collectors of all types: TCGs, boardgames, pop culture statues, models and collectibles. Very friendly and welcoming owners who will do what they can to help you. I try and drop in whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

When my son turned one I wanted to start a collection of Pokemon cards just like I had when I was a kid. But given it's been some time from the Pokemon scene I had no idea where to start. The team at Vault Collectables have been very helpful and guided me on what to buy that someday may be valuable for my son when he's older. So far the packs I've bought have had some awesome pulls and a god pack to boot. Feel extremely lucky and thankful for their guidance! I would recommend this place to any type of collector or just a Dad looking to start. Definitely will come back to add more to the collection!
