The Collectivist

I've been to The Collectivist multiple times and had a brilliant experience time. The owner is very attentive and kind, and the prices are very reasonable which mean we can sit for a few hours. They have a demo games cupboard so you can try a few games, which had led to us buying multiple when we enjoyed them. They've recently started ordering pizza from next door, expanding on their penny which was previously just snacks and charcutierie, and expanded their drinks range too. We love supporting small business and this is one of our favorites. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a low key but very fun evening.

The Collectivist in Ascot Vale is such a great spot to hang out 🧩🍷 Perfect for drinks and board games with friends. The vibe is amazing, and the owner is honestly so lovely—took the time to introduce us to so many fun board games. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to ✨

Super loved this place! Perfect for a weekday evening activity. Went here on a Thursday and there was a lot of space available. We played the escape room card game and had so much fun. The menu is very simple and is a perfect compliment to the games. Would go again for sure!

Our favorite date spot! Me and my husband knew we needed to take a break from our tv shows and this place is exactly the thing we needed! We’ve always had a love for games but this place has broadened our love for it. They have all different types of games for anyone and everyone - we played Wingspan and an Escape Room card game (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!) We also ordered the bbq chicken pizza, olives, cheese plate and a glass of wine. All of the above were amazing and the service impeccable! We are already planning our next date night there. So much fun!!!!
