Playhard Gaming

Absoloutely love this store! Always love coming in with the friendly banter from Wayne when visiting, his expertise is vast and I thank him for supplying me my horrible achievement hunting addiction via the endless Xbox 360 games I keep purchasing from here. Above and beyond service to make sure I can suffer for hours on end. Keep it up and don't change boss man!

amazing shop, love coming here 🙂🙂 always good quality games, no issues with any purchases. thanks!

Wayne, Wesley and Cal are always incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and happy to have a chat whether you’re a long-time collector or just getting started. The store has a fantastic range of products, from trading cards and collectibles to gaming accessories, and they’re always bringing in exciting new stock. They even stock my favourite Peach Monster drinks, which is always a bonus. What really sets PlayHardGaming apart is the community they’ve built. Walking into the store feels more like catching up with friends than just shopping. The team genuinely cares about their customers and goes above and beyond to help people find what they’re looking for. If you’re into Pokémon, TCGs, gaming, or collectibles, this is easily one of the best local stores around. Thanks to Wayne, Wesley and Cal for always making every visit a great experience!

Old fella behind the counter is extremely rude and not exactly in touch with modern gaming technology. Helpful if you’re after pre 2000 gaming stuff.

Honestly the best store in Newcastle/maitland. Not only do they sell games for practically every console you could name, but they sell new games, cards, hell, I bought the best game I’ve ever played down at this store. Regardless, my mother gets all of her magic the gathering cards here so I might as well leave a nice review. Love ya Wayne
