Usually plenty of parking however can be quite confusing depending on which areas to park. Love these shops as its plentiful with all the necessities and main stores. Quite easy to get around with young kids, very pram friendly. Lifts always in service with little wait time and always been a great place to shop and take it easy with 3 kids in tow, with plenty for them to do.

I always enjoy coming to this shopping centre. It has a broad mix of stores, so there’s plenty to browse through each visit. The centre is generally clean, well-kept, and pleasant to walk around. There are also lots of dining choices, making it easy to stay for a while. Parking is usually straightforward, and the atmosphere feels relaxed and safe. Overall, it’s a place I’m happy to return to. One downside is the cinema parking allowance. Moviegoers only get 3 hours of free parking, which can be tight these days since many films run for two hours or more. Once you factor in time to find a park and get settled, there isn’t much buffer left. If you also want to grab a meal or do a bit of shopping, you often end up paying at least around $10 for extra parking. Increasing the free parking to 4 hours would make the experience much more practical and stress-free.

Many shops selling flowers, jewellery, chocolate and plenty of restaurants and eateries too. Few supermarkets. It's a very large building and near to Macquarie University.

I had a fantastic experience visiting Macquarie Centre. It’s one of the most well-designed and convenient shopping destinations I’ve been to. The mall has a great mix of high-end brands and everyday stores, so whether you’re there for serious shopping or just browsing, there’s plenty to explore. What really stood out to me was how spacious and clean everything is. The layout is easy to navigate, and despite being busy, it never feels overcrowded. The food court offers a wide variety of options—from quick bites to proper meals—making it perfect for a relaxed break during shopping. A unique highlight is the ice rink inside the centre, which adds a fun and lively vibe to the whole place. It’s not something you expect in a mall, and it definitely makes the visit more memorable. Parking is convenient, and the centre is well-connected by public transport, making it easily accessible. Overall, Macquarie Centre is a complete package—great shopping, good food, entertainment, and a comfortable environment. I’d definitely recommend it for families, friends, or even a solo day out.

With the added stores some years ago, it is an excellent shopping centre for the North Ryde area. Can be busy during weekends, so adjust your visit. Leading brands and stores are here, so plenty of choice. Variety of restaurants too.
