GAMESWORLD DONCASTER

We bought a card game as a present and missing a card. We had given the birthday boy an alternative present as the present we gave was incomplete. We went to Games World and they refused for a refund and was only given choices to select either gift card or replacement. The replacement won't work for us anymore as we have provided a replacement present for the birthday boy. The gift card won't work for us either as we will be living overseas for a while. We were refused to speak to the manager either. It would be better to buy from Amazon or Big W or other shops.

Absolutely love Games World in Doncaster! Michelle, Sandie, and the whole team are always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Whether you’re browsing Rowood puzzles, Smooshos, trading card games, or just about anything they go above and beyond to assist you. Their ingenuity and willingness to accommodate customers really stand out. Highly recommend for everyone! especially families looking for a fun and supportive local place to shop!

To whoever that said gamesworld staff was racist, im the most asian person ever and they greeted me with open hands, im sorry they are refusing scalpers who were reselling pokemon for 10x more and leaving out for the kids. Whoever said that needs to be taught better, gamesworld doncaster is the best and they are never racist, never will be. Periodt.

Seeing this level of discrimination in modern-day Australia was a horrific and terrible experience for me and my friends. My friends and I visited Doncaster Gamesworld after hearing that multiple Pokémon products were on sale. However, my experience was deeply unsettling due to what appeared to be inconsistent treatment of customers. When I first arrived, I was told that only the TCG First Partner packs were in stock. I initially assumed the other items had simply sold out. However, as I waited, I observed other customers (who were not Asian) approach the counter and successfully purchase all three of the boxes. It became clear that staff were continuously providing certain people with full stock from the back. The inconsistency became even more apparent when an Asian family with a child walked in. Like me, they were restricted to purchasing only one box. Meanwhile, my non-Asian friend was permitted to buy all three without issue. When questioned, staff claimed items were out of stock for some while readily providing them to others. Seeing this level of discrimination in modern-day Australia was a horrific and terrible experience. I expected fair treatment but instead, I left feeling targeted and unwelcome.

Beautiful young Sarah was so lovely & kind enough to give us some time to educate and play with us the game of the week! It was a cool polaroid game which I'm sure our daughter and niece who flew down from Queensland will always have a fond memory of. Our girls had an item each at the counter ready to pay for their item, out of my own curiosity I had asked Sarah what they were & Sarah had no issue sparing time even though there was 10-15minutes until close time (9pm) to play with all 4 of us! Once we finished the game she then continued with our purchase which I thought was so kind as we really appreciate this little memory with her within the store at Games World Doncaster on a late Friday evening. We haven't had such a pleasant experience like this engaging in a group game activity with a retailer like her. I honestly felt like it would be a lovely story for the girls to tell and revisit each time they think of games or things relative! Thank you Sarah! We wish you all the very best in your professional life and trust you will excel in all areas of your school life and future career paths! You have a very bright future ahead of you with your incredible intuitive people skills.
