Cardtastic Collectables and Gaming

I only started collecting Pokemon cards less than a year ago and came across Cardtastic while looking for a local game store. Been coming back ever since! The team has always been great to deal with. They’ve looked after my preorders, helped me get my hands on new releases and are always happy to chat. One thing that stands out is that I probably wouldn’t have played my first ever Pokemon pre-release if the store manager hadn’t suggested I give it a go. I’m glad I did because I had a great time and it helped me get more involved in the community side of the hobby. These days I’m in there pretty regularly, and between Cardtastic and my local EB, that’s where most of my Pokemon card budget disappears 😅. Great store, great people and a great community. A friday night from 7pm to 10pm, our first time here playing pokemon, everyone was very friendly and helped us alot, the staff went out of their way to explain everything amd help us understand what we needed and what to do, the players also helped us workout playing and just having a lot of fun.😁

Came to play magic on lorwyn pre release to play commander night. as it was stated on magic companion app that they were doing a commander night along with the pre release. Me and my partner show up 10 minutes before it was to start only to find out that they were at capacity with people playing Pokemon. And told we would most likely gonna get removed for more Pokemon players. Don't host multiple events when you don't have room for it.

After discussing with the store staff on duty, unfortunately I have to give a one star review for your store. 1. Not friendly to new customers, standing in your store for 10 minutes has no one come or ask you what's going on, every one including the store staff are playing at the back of the store. 2. Your website has mentioned buy a box promo, but has no details about what the promotion is, when asked via Facebook, the support staff are not sharing enough details so my side kept getting misunderstood. Basically the promotion is just a card, and if I knew, I won't rush back after 12 hours of work without dinner just to get a piece of card 3. There are no explanation on your website letting me know that collector pack is all foils. It is very confusing to first time buyers about the item need to purchase 4. The staff in store is not very familiar with the item location, took him 22 minutes to finally locate a box that is in stock and available. I was advised to come to the store to get the item, but the store has not all product available I want to purchase while website has no info about stock. I told the staff I am working 12 hours shift and it is very hard for me to constantly go to your store to just get the item because of the timing I work. And my home is 6 minutes away, the store staff denied to do anything about it, and asked me either to buy online and spend 10 dollars shipping or come to the store again which I am already not happy with the service I get. You are not going to get new customers with a business service like this
